At a very young age I developed a strong love and passion for cooking, gardening and adventure.  I was always lending a helping hand in the garden and kitchen.  As a mother it tickles my heart to watch my daughter eat vegetables straight from the vine, she doesn’t even wash them off!  Like the saying goes “God made dirt and dirt don’t hurt.”  Teaching my family and friends tips on gardening and cooking, is one of my favorite pastimes.  My goal in life is to inspire families and children to get back to the roots of our ancestors.  Growing our own food and cooking the foods we grow is such an incredible experience for all.

Silly things about me:

I’m silly.  Always have been and always will be!

I’m obsessed with The Beatles.  Like obsessed!  My favorite album is Abbey Road and I could listen to the track “Something” on repeat for days!!!!

I watch the movie Practical Magic daily.  I think I can recite it in my sleep.

Most of the world calls me “G” but I answer to almost anything.

As a child I was in two plays, Cats and Grease.  I played Rizzo (of course) and a teenage alley cat with crazy curly frizzy hair.  I had a singing solo in Grease which may have been a good or a not so good thing!  I however survived the 3 minutes of singing torture.

I have a big weakness for thin crust Domino’s pizza and Shirley Temples, extra cherries please!

As an employee of Barnes and Noble, I dressed up as children storybook characters for Saturday mornings  story time.  Clifford the Big Red Dog was always the biggest hit!

My very first food demonstration for a crowd was in the 4th grade, Rice Krispie Treats.  Not a one was left over, mission accomplished!

Isabella Gwen

A silly and happy kid who likes to get dirty any chance she gets. From birth, Isabella has been raised to love the community garden lifestyle.  She finds great joy in planting flowers and vegetables.  Watching the miracle of seeds grow to later become food, makes her appreciate Mother Nature’s magic.  Her passion in life is to share her imagination with others and make new friends to have adventures with.  If she could get away with wearing her jammies and no shoes everyday, a happy camper she would be!  Her favorite pastime is to go on night adventures with Peter, her imaginary boyfriend!
